We are born to be victorious.  Indeed! We were born to win.  

“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”– 1 John 5:4

“For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” — Deuteronomy 20:4

Nonetheless, there are times in our lives when circumstances seem cruel and unkind. During these times we feel exhausted and defeated. We are on the verge of giving up. We find ourselves confronted with these questions:

Where is God?

Does God really care?

Born to Win is based on the true story of Leon Terblanche who has been raised by a cruel stepfather and his mother.  Eventually he meets Elmarie a beautiful young lady and they get married and have a child named Brigitte. His painful past haunts him and finds himself confronted with the question: Where is God?  Nonetheless he teaches in a school for handicapped children and has a lot of compassion for other people. He learns that he has never been alone through all the pain and brokenness of his past.

After some years when his marriage gets in great trouble, Leon attends church with Elmarie and Brigitte and he finds God again. However not too long after that, a horrible car accident involving loved ones brings Leon to a dilemma, and he must decide whether to trust God or resent once again.

In this heartwarming film, Leon learns that no matter how troubled you are, no matter how difficult the situations are, no matter how broken you are, God proves that He is always our only living hope. He is in control. He is the calm within the storm. He is the only One who can make us whole again.

Born to Win is an awesome Christian movie about overcoming adversities by trusting God; defeating adversaries by putting the shield of faith.  It is an awesome film to enlighten and awaken us that we were born to win.

The film shows how God can turn the hurt, pain, and brokenness of a man into hope, faith, and victory— to make us realize that we were born to win.
