Sharing The Gospel is one of the commandments that God wants us to do as a Christian. However, this task isn’t easy nowadays because we are worried about being rejected or embarrassed. But, as a disciple of God, we should know that sharing theWord of God is one of the basic principles of Christianity that we should fulfill. So, don’t be scared and share the gospel with these simple tips.
Play Christian music in your car.
“My tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long.” – Psalm 35:28
Play some Christian music when you carpool, so your friends or company will notice that you are a Christian. Listening to Christian music can promote faith and it is a wonderful way to bring up the Word of God. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” – Colossians 3:16. You can also sing songs of praises while driving and tell all the wonderful works that God has done to you. “Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.” – Psalm 105:2
Teach your children the Way of God and the Truth.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” – Deuteronomy 6:5-7
Reading the Bible and doing some Christian activities with your grown-up children is one of the best ways to ignite their faith. Plant the seeds in their hearts while they are young and let God take care of it. “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” – Romans 10:17. Teach your children on how to pray and some basic principles of Christianity. “Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” – 2 Timothy 4:2
Display God’s Word in your home or office.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” – Romans 1:16
Display your Bible in your home where your guests can easily notice it such as putting in a shelve, on top of your coffee table or in your entryway. “Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.” – Deuteronomy 6:8-9. Also, don’t be ashamed to bring your Bible everywhere and Share The Gospel in your workplace — put it on your desk and read it during your break time. “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.” – Matthew 10:32. For sure, your guests and co-workers will be interested in your faith and they will ask you about it. You can also share Jesus over a cup of coffee with your co-workers and friends.
Wear Faith-themed shirts and accessories.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:14-16
You can still be fashionable by wearing faith-themed apparels and accessories such as shirts, tote bags and bracelets with God’s Word — you will catch the attention of the people around you and you can spread the Word through it. “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!” – Psalm 96:3. Don’t be ashamed of your faith and be proud to wear things that gives glory to God. Also, a smile is one of the best accessories that we can wear, so cheer everyone around you with your smile. “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:20
Share about His Goodness and Mercy.
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” – Matthew 24:14
Testify how good is the Lord in your life and how He loves you. Tell them all His deeds, the things that you are thankful for, how He changed your life and how He saved you from the wrath and sin. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8. Worship His Name, sing praises to Him, write blogs or your testimony into your social media accounts and Share The Gospel with everyone. “And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted.” – Isaiah 12:4
Thus, you can also write notes to your loved ones, friends or co-workers and tell them that you are mentioning them in your prayers or share some Bible verses with them. You can also invite them in your home for Thanksgiving dinner or in your church’s Thanksgiving service. Be a living testimony to everyone and let God’s love shine through you by manifesting the fruit of the Spirit.
