
3 Christian Ways to Have a Positive Outlook in Life
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9
We are not living in a perfect world, but rather negativity is everywhere. We face challenges, trials, denial and rejection. However, as a child of God, this Bible passage tells us to be courageous and strong because God is always on our side. Thus, when life gets hard and you feel that everything is falling apart — remember, these verses to have a positive outlook in life.
- Matthew 6:33/Seek God First.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33
God created us to be His companion and to worship Him. And, as a Christian we must know that seeking God is our top priority here on earth. When we seek God first and when we pleased Him, everything will fall into place. Spend time with God daily — ask for guidance, blessings, and worship Him through meditating His Word, singing hymns of praise or by writing on your Christian journal. Remember, God can wipe all our anxiety, fears, pain and tears.
- Jeremiah 29:11/Trust His Will.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
Whatever you are facing right now — always trust God’s Will and plan for your life. He will never harm us nor forsake us. He will never give us trials that we can’t handle. Nothing is impossible with God and all we need to do is to keep and strengthen our faith. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6

God cares for us — He is our Father and He knows our name. God is our Great Comforter and refuge — tell Him your thoughts, cry your fears, anxieties and pain. Ask for healing, guidance, success, provision, etc. God sees our tears and He hears us even before we pray.
When you feel like giving up or when negative thoughts hit you — always remind yourself that God is on your side and He will not fail you. Be strong and courageous and have a nail cross in your home.
Being with God is enough reason to have a positive outlook in life. He reminded us that the things on earth is temporary and He created us to become victorious in life.
