4 Tips To Keep A Positive View Each Day

More than anything else, your success can be attributed to your positive outlook in life. In fact, according to a study, your education, skills and abilities do not guarantee success, but your positive attitudes and habits do.

As human beings, it is inevitable that we are beset by negative thoughts that can hinder our full potential to succeed, but with God’s help we can keep a positive view each day to  live a more successful and happier life. Here’s how:

1. Seek God First

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. — Matthew 6:33

Make it a habit to pray and meditate on the Word of God early in the morning before you start your day.  Ask God to help renew your mind and ask for His guidance throughout the day.  Rest in His Promises, so whatever life will throw on you each day, you can keep a positive view and say that — all things work together for good to them that love the Lord who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

2. Be Grateful Always

Giving thanks and appreciation can help you keep a positive disposition. Get inspired to keep a positive view each day with a gratitude journal to help you keep track of inspirations, personal growth challenges and everything you have to be thankful for.  “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

3.  Receive God’s Love and Share It to Other

God is love, and the more you can receive God’s love and share it with other people, the more positive your outlook on life will become. So, let God be the center of your life. Keep a daily devotion to communicate with God through Bible reading, meditation and prayer. Ask God to fill and empower you with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self control so that you can love and encourage other people in the ways God wants you to love them. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. — John 15:12

4.  Take Account of Your Thoughts.

When negative thoughts try to sneak into your mind, be honest to God and ask Him to help you replace them with positive ones.  Philippians 4:5-9 — Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Facing challenges and difficult circumstances that can influence our thoughts are inevitable in this world, but these tips will help us keep our eyes in Christ Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who will enable us to keep a positive view every day.  “…For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” — 2 Timothy 1:12
