3 Qualities of a Woman You Should Marry

“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.” – Proverbs 18:22

How would you know if she’s the one you should marry? Aside from being in love with her, that you feel comfortable when you are with her and she’s so attractive and kind, there should definitely something more. Marriage is a serious matter and sacred as well. And so, God had already provided us heavenly confirmation through His Words to know if you had finally met the one.

Before you take the ring and ask her for marriage, be sure to check these qualities to know if she is really the one you should marry.

1. She is God-Fearing

“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30

Of course, marrying a woman who is God-fearing is a must for everyone. It’s simply because, if she fears God with reverence, then, she will be certainly a faithful and good wife and mother to your children. A God-fearing wife allows God to lead the marriage, according to His Word. She will follow all what God has commanded her to do that will benefit you, your future children and your future family.

2. She is Someone You can Trust

“The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.” Proverbs 31:11

Find someone who can give you full confidence, security and honesty. Your wife will be the mother of your children; she will serve as the guiding light in your home. Find a woman whom you can be trusted to be the mother of your children, to raise them with a brighter future.

3. She’s a True Beauty

“Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear—  but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.  For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands,  as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening. 1 Peter 3:3-6

Lastly, the Bible instructs us to find the true beauty in a woman. If your love is merely based on the physical beauty, then your love has a very weak foundation. Don’t be fooled with the wrong kind of beauty. But, let be true beauty, be your love main attraction, so, you have nothing to worry and fear.
Marriage has two powers, either to make you or break you. Marry a true Christian woman and you have God’s promise that He will make her more and more beautiful and spiritually beautiful every single day.
