Don’t Lose Heart You are Destined to Win

Are you feeling defeated, discouraged and uninspired?  In times like these we need a message of hope that could ignite our inspiration and cultivate our faith.  Christian films are a great source of inspiration and encouragement. They tell stories that can touch and transform people’s lives.

Born to Win is a perfect film for you to watch. It is a South African movie based on the real life story of Leon Terblanche who is raised by his mother and an abusive stepfather. Haunted by his painful past, he finds himself confronted with the question: Where is God?

Did Leon find God?  Indeed!  He learns that through the darkest and most desperate times of his life, God is always there, watching over him.  He discovers that no matter how wounded and broken a man is, there is hope and healing in God. God alone can make us whole again.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”  Psalm 147:3

“He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”  Psalm 23:3

Born to Win is the story of a troubled man who finds faith, hope, and the love of God. It is a heartwarming film that brings hope and inspiration to our weary heart. The scenes are full of emotion, humor and real-life struggles. This is not only the life story of Leon Terblanche, but it is also our life story.

Like Leon there are times in our lives that we feel empty and broken, but always remember, no matter what life throws our way, we were born to win.  We cannot be defeated; we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ who loved us. Romans 8:37

Sometimes life may seem unfair and unkind, but do not lose heart, God has a purpose in every circumstance. Trust Him, and believe that you are destined to win.

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”  Psalm 73:26

“I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!” John 16:33
